Do I have to build?
No, our parcels of land can be held as an investment, as a place to get away and for recreation like hiking or camping, or for future use. Many see buying land as a type of savings account, others simply choose to buy land so they have a low payment until they are actually ready to build.
How much earnest money do I need to put down?
$500 on any parcel of land, and $2000 on our cabins. We typically close the transaction in 7-14 days, and about 25-45 days when financing is required. Local lenders are available.
If I buy land and want to build (either now or later), will I have two payments each month?
Not unless you want two payments. The banks will be happy to roll your land payment and the construction of your new cabin into one loan. Most people choose this method.
